For this project I was hired to create a graphic novel using footage from the animated film Song of the Sea. I laid out each page by choosing appropriate images from the film to fit into panels that I laid out to translate the movie into a comic narrative.
At the same time, I worked with an illustrator from the film to create splash pages based on my sketches and art direction.
