For this project I was hired to color the graphic novel Uprooted, based on the author/illustrator Ruth Chan’s previous work.
Beginning with a palette they have used regularly, I expanded on it by adding colors as needed to highlight vibrant settings, as well as subtracted colors for scenes of memory and the past.
