I was commissioned by the National Education Association to illustrate a comic in collaboration with several of their writers and staff members that told a brief history of the labor movement in the United States.
I began the project by teaching the team about how comics were a useful medium in which to tell a story in a concise but detailed way, combining words, images, and design. The comic here is the final product of those efforts.
